LEVEL I.

From September to June. 800 practical hours
From Monday to Friday from 9.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. / 4.30 p.m.

This cycle is indicated for students to start from the base. It is a perfect course to settle the basic concepts of placement, alignment of the body and basic principles of dance.

This cycle consists of:

  • Preparatory Course: oriented course for students who do not have previous studies in ballet and / or contemporary dance. This year focuses on the acquisition of physical form and prepare the body for future techniques.
  • First course: students with previous experience in ballet and / or contemporary dance. The student in this course must be able to correctly follow a ballet and contemporary (technical) class at the beginner / intermediate level.

  • Technical base of ballet.
  • Fundamental concepts of contemporary dance.
  • Urban dance.
  • History of dance.
  • Tutoring. Coaching.
  • Physical conditioning.

OBJECTIVES

  • Get to know the basic terminology of dance.
  • Knowledge of the body and body movement.
  • Develop co-ordination, musical quality and rhythm.
  • The principles of the dancer, to know their objectives.
  • Realise dance as a future career.
  • Develop body training as an instrument.
