Fernando Lázaro

Degree in teaching professional classical dance specializing in modern/jazz/contemporary techniques. He has a vast experience as a ballet dancer in theatre (National Dance Centre, Teatro Real, Rafael Aguliar Dance Company (solo dancer), Elia Camino Dance Company, Druida Dance Company). He has been invited on many occasions to participate in the Day of the Dance Gala in Albéniz (Madrid) and has been part of the main cast in several operas and musicals (Grease, Hello Dolly!, We Will Rock You). He has an extensive career in television appearing in some of the best shows (between 1995-2006) as well as film, video and advertising. He continued his career as a choreographer on TV programmes such as Sábado Noche and Camp Rock and he also put on shows for SCAENA Carmen Roche and pieces for Maratón de Madrid, MoveNDance, Distrito Danza, Mulafest and WDM Spain amongst others.

Since 2001 he has taught in prestigious dance academies in Madrid and has given workshops in modern/contemporary dance all over Spain and also international courses in Italy, Portugal, Chile, Mexico and Russia. He has trained professionals in the Professional Dance Association of Madrid and in acting and interpretation schools (ESAD, Estudio Juan Codina, Escuela Coral Anton). He has also been a member of judging panels for various dance competitions.

For four years he held the position of Director of Stage and Theatre Studies in Scaena Carmen Roche (Madrid) and for two years the Modern Dance Professional Programme Co-ordinator at MDC (Madrid).

He is currently one of the directors of Danza180º.
